What is Nexaria
Nexaria is a real-time space MMO you play in a browser tab, on a phone, tablet or computer. You mine asteroids, fight alien swarms, run Galaxy Gates, hunt the Hive Queen and Vorrhak, the alien mothership, and fight other pilots in the Dark Zone.
The in-game currency is ORB. The game's token is XARIA, on Robinhood Chain. Everything that matters (damage, loot, balances, limits) is worked out on the game's servers, never in your browser. Your browser only shows the result.
Getting started
- Connect a wallet. Any EVM wallet works. You sign one message to prove the wallet is yours. The signature is free: it does not send a transaction or move any funds. A sign-in lasts 30 days. The first time a new wallet signs in, a quick human check (Cloudflare) appears for a second or two; most of the time it passes by itself.
- Reserve a callsign. 3–16 letters, numbers or
_, one per wallet. You need it to fly online and to list on the market. The first 1,000 callsigns get a Founder number and the Founder title. - Get your Pilot Licence when the game asks for it. It is a one-time payment in ETH on the game's vault contract, shown in your wallet before you confirm. One licence per wallet.
- Fly. The training missions walk you through your first minutes.
Progress made in tests before launch is reset at launch, so everyone starts the season at the same point. Your wallet, callsign and waitlist status are kept.
Your first hour
A simple route that uses what the game gives you early on.
- Do the training (about 5 minutes). Fly, mine 5 ferrite, shoot an alien, press H to fly home, sell, buy a Thruster upgrade, press 1, press I. You end with 540 ORB and a Hive Essence.
- Mine and fight around the station in Red Dust. Click grey rocks to mine, click red aliens to attack. Your ship fires by itself at whatever it is locked on. Sell when the hold is full (the Eagle holds 40).
- Start a refinery job before you leave the station. 40 ferrite make a Ferrite Ingot worth 120 ORB in 10 minutes, against 80 ORB if you sold the ferrite raw. Collect it within 10 minutes of it finishing for +20%.
- Send your probe on the Red Dust survey (15 minutes) from Base › Expeditions. It runs while you play.
- Level 2: training part 2 starts. Spend your skill point on Afterburner, claim a daily mission, and open the Community tab.
- Upgrade laser and shield first. Levels 1–5 of every upgrade cost ORB. Laser adds damage to every shot; shield keeps you alive near nests.
- Level 3: you get your first Attack Escort (+15% damage). The Ant mining ship opens in the Hangar.
- Level 4: fly through the jump gate on the right edge of the map to the Ice Belt. Crystal sells for 8 ORB, four times ferrite, and every kill pays 20% more.
- Keep the Guide tab open. Captain's Path tells you the next goal and pays ORB for each one.

Entries you open stay open while the panel refreshes. This page goes into more detail than the Knowledge Bank.
Ships
| Ship | Role | Unlock | Hull / Shield | Speed | Damage | Cargo | Mining | Slots | Signature skill |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eagle | Balanced | Start | 200 / 100 | 190 | 12 | 40 | 1 hit / 0.45 s | Rocket | Afterburner |
| Ant | Miner | Lv3 | 230 / 110 | 175 | 8 | 110 | 1 hit / 0.25 s | Mine | Drone Swarm |
| Bison | Tank | Lv5 | 430 / 230 | 150 | 13 | 55 | 1 hit / 0.45 s | Rocket, mine | Fortress |
| Bolt | Hunter | Lv5 | 170 / 120 | 265 | 22 | 30 | 1 hit / 0.5 s | Rocket | Blink |
| Leviathan | Flagship | Lv14 | 650 / 420 | 205 | 32 | 130 | 1 hit / 0.35 s | Rocket, mine | Command Aura |
The Eagle is free. The others are bought in Hangar › Ships while docked, paid with XARIA; the Hangar shows the current amount. You keep every ship you buy and can switch between them at the station.
Damage is the base damage of one laser shot, before upgrades. Each mining hit puts 1 ore in the hold. "Slots" are the weapon slots: a ship can only fit a rocket launcher or a mine bay if it has that slot.
- Eagle: the all-rounder. Fine for your first levels and for gates.
- Ant: mines almost twice as fast as the Eagle and carries 110. Weak gun.
- Bison: double the Eagle's hull. Good for bosses and the Dark Zone.
- Bolt: fastest ship and the hardest hitter for its level, but fragile.
- Leviathan: strong at everything. Its Command Aura also raises your shield recharge.
Designs
Designs change the look only (glow and engine trail). Every ship starts with its Standard design. Hangar › Designs shows your progress toward each one.
| Ship | Veteran | Elite |
|---|---|---|
| Eagle | 500 kills | Level 10, then pay 60,000 ORB at the station |
| Ant | Mine 3,000 ore | Level 10, then pay 60,000 ORB |
| Bison | 3 Vorrhak kills | Level 12, then pay 90,000 ORB |
| Bolt | 1,500 kills | Clear 3 Galaxy Gates (any tier) |
| Ship | Commander | Legend |
|---|---|---|
| Leviathan | Reach Level 17 | Clear the Gamma Gate 10 times |
Veteran has gold trim and a gold trail, Elite a cyan glow and blue trail, Commander a crimson glow and red trail, and Legend a purple aura with sparks. Other pilots see your design.
Upgrades
Upgrade at the station (Station › Upgrade). Each line goes to level 10. Levels 1–5 cost ORB (base × 2.6 per level); levels 6–10 are paid with XARIA.
| Upgrade | Per level | Lv1–5 cost (ORB) |
|---|---|---|
| Laser cannon | +6 damage per shot | 40 · 104 · 270 · 703 · 1,828 |
| Energy shield | +50 shield | 40 · 104 · 270 · 703 · 1,828 |
| Armor plate | −4% damage taken (wears down) | 50 · 130 · 338 · 879 · 2,285 |
| Thruster | +20 speed | 30 · 78 · 203 · 527 · 1,371 |
| Cargo bay | +20 cargo | 30 · 78 · 203 · 527 · 1,371 |
| Mining drone | +108 ferrite an hour, even while you are away | 60 · 156 · 406 · 1,055 · 2,742 |
Armor only protects while it has integrity. Each hit wears it by 5% of the damage that gets through. Repair it at the station for ORB: (100 − integrity) × (2 + armor level). An Alloy Plate restores 50 integrity anywhere. At level 10 armor stops 40% of incoming damage.
Mining drones fill a depot at the station with ferrite. The depot holds 8 hours of work; "Sell all" sells it at 2 ORB each.
Skills
Every level after the first gives 1 skill point. Each skill starts at level 1. Points take a skill to level 10. After that you pay Data Chips:
| Skill level | Grade | Cost per level |
|---|---|---|
| 2–10 | Ranks | 1 skill point |
| 11–15 | Master | 1 Data Chip |
| 16–19 | Grandmaster | 2 Data Chips |
| 20 | Flawless | 5 Data Chips |
You can level the signature skill of every ship you own, plus the four skills of your doctrine. Skills sit on the hotbar (keys 1–5), which can be rearranged.
Signature skills
| Skill | Ship | Effect | Lv1 | Lv10 | Lv20 | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Afterburner | Eagle | 2× speed for a few seconds | 3.2 s | 4.5 s | 6 s | 14 s |
| Drone Swarm | Ant | Mines nearby asteroids by itself | 8.3 s | 11 s | 14 s | 25 s |
| Fortress | Bison | You cannot move; incoming damage reduced | 5.2 s, −51% | 7 s, −60% | 9 s, −70% | 20 s |
| Blink | Bolt | Instant jump in the direction you face | 270 units | 360 units | 460 units | 7.8 → 6 → 4 s |
| Command Aura | Leviathan | More damage for 8 s, shield recharges 2× faster | +32% | +50% | +70% | 30 s |
Blink's cooldown gets shorter as it levels: 8 s minus 0.2 s per level.
Doctrines
At Level 6 you choose one doctrine in the Skills tab. It adds a passive damage bonus and four skills (three active, one passive).
| Doctrine | Type | Built-in bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Heavy Assault | Physical | +15% damage to aliens (including sector creatures and gate aliens). Strong for hunting and mining. |
| Psionic | Mental | +25% damage to everything that is not a plain alien: pirates, the Hive Queen, Vorrhak and gate queens. |
Heavy Assault skills
| Skill | Effect | Lv1 | Lv10 | Lv20 | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shredder Salvo | Hits every enemy in front of you | 3.25× damage | 5.5× | 8× | 7 s |
| Orbital Strike | Area strike that lands 1 s later and follows your locked target | 5.4× in 163 units | 9× in 190 | 13× in 220 | 14 s |
| Overload | 3× mining speed and 1.5× fire rate | 6.3 s | 9 s | 12 s | 22 s |
| Scavenger (passive) | More ORB from enemies, and a higher chance of ore drops | +12% ORB, +17% | +30%, +35% | +50%, +55% | – |
Psionic skills
| Skill | Effect | Lv1 | Lv10 | Lv20 | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EMP Wave | Stuns enemies around you, bosses too | 1.6 s in 305 units | 2.5 s in 350 | 3.5 s in 400 | 16 s |
| Ghost Mode | Invisible, shots pass through you, enemies lose you as a target | 3.2 s | 4.5 s | 6 s | 20 s |
| Mind Lock | Your target stops firing, slows down and takes extra damage | 4.2 s, +21% | 6 s, +30% | 8 s, +40% | 12 s |
| Reflector Shield (passive) | Sends part of the damage you take back to the attacker | 9.2% | 20% | 32% | – |
Doctrine reset: 2,000 ORB at the station, or paid with XARIA from the Shop anywhere. The skill points you spent on doctrine skills come back, and you can pick again.
Weapons and ammo
| Weapon | Unlock | Cost | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Laser | Start | – | Your main gun. Fires by itself at the target you lock. |
| Rocket launcher | Lv6 | 600 ORB | A homing rocket every 2.5 s at 4× laser damage, at aliens within 520 units. Needs a rocket slot. |
| Mine bay | Lv6 | 500 ORB | Drop a mine with M every 6 s. It arms after 0.6 s, lasts 30 s and hits every alien within 130 units for 6× laser damage. Up to 5 mines out at once. Needs a mine slot. |
| Ammo | Damage | Where from |
|---|---|---|
| x1 Standard | 1× | Free and unlimited |
| x2 Double Power | 2× | 150 ORB per 100 rounds |
| x3 Plasma | 3× | 600 ORB per 100 rounds |
| x4 Red X4 | 4× | Refinery (Red X4) and gate rewards |
One round per shot, hit or miss. Q switches ammo; when a type runs out you drop back to x1. The server counts the rounds you use from the damage it accepts, so the count in your hold is always the server's.
Escorts and modules
Escorts fly around your ship and stay with you on every ship.
| Escort | Effect | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Attack Escort | Fires a small laser at your target (+15% damage) | Level 3, and your first Vorrhak kill |
| Shield Escort | +20% shield, and the shield recharges 50% faster | Level 7 and Level 15 |
| Collector PET | Pulls in dropped crates and mines nearby asteroids | Level 10 |
| Vorrhak Spawn | Legendary attack escort (+35% damage) | Legendary loot from Vorrhak or a gate |
You can have up to 30 escorts, counting those away on expeditions. An escort sent on an expedition leaves your fleet until you collect it.
Modules
Modules are legendary loot. While you hold one, its bonus is on:
- Red Laser Module: +12% damage.
- Prism Shield Module: +15% shield.
Each death costs a module 20% durability. At 0% it breaks and you lose it (a spare starts again at 100%). Repair at the station with Data Chips (1 chip per 20% missing) or anywhere with an Alloy Plate (+20%).
Items and consumables
| Item | What it does | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Gate Shard | Trade good. A gate falls back to shards only if the team switches server combat off. | Aliens (1%, big ones 3%), pirates (15%), Hive Queen (2–3), Vorrhak (6), daily chest (3), Season Pass |
| Time Crystal | Takes 30 minutes off a refinery job, expedition or research | Daily chest, hard missions, Queen, gates, Season Pass, invites, Shop |
| Hive Essence | +25% XP for 15 minutes (stacks in time) | Training, Queen, gates, Season Pass, invite pack |
| Alloy Plate | +50 armor integrity, +50% hull condition, or +20% module durability | Queen, gates, Season Pass |
| Data Chip | Skill levels 11–20, module repair | Vorrhak, Queen (30%), pirates (35%), big aliens from the Volcanic Ring on (6%), gates, long expeditions, refinery |
| Quantum Core | Core Breakdown in the refinery gives 3 Data Chips | Legendary loot |
Queen and gate consumables are rolled from Time Crystal, Hive Essence and Alloy Plate with equal odds.
Levels and ranks
XP comes from mining, aliens, bosses, gates and missions. Harder sectors give more XP for the same rock or kill.
| Rank | From level |
|---|---|
| Rookie | 1 |
| Cadet | 3 |
| Lieutenant | 5 |
| Captain | 8 |
| Major | 11 |
| Colonel | 14 |
| Admiral | 17 |
XP to the next level
| Level | XP needed | Level | XP needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 → 2 | 300 | 11 → 12 | 175,000 |
| 2 → 3 | 600 | 12 → 13 | 300,000 |
| 3 → 4 | 1,700 | 13 → 14 | 560,000 |
| 4 → 5 | 4,500 | 14 → 15 | 700,000 |
| 5 → 6 | 8,000 | 15 → 16 | 850,000 |
| 6 → 7 | 16,000 | 16 → 17 | 1,000,000 |
| 7 → 8 | 40,000 | 17 → 18 | 1,150,000 |
| 8 → 9 | 62,000 | 18 → 19 | 1,300,000 |
| 9 → 10 | 90,000 | 19 → 20 | 1,450,000 |
| 10 → 11 | 125,000 | 20 → 21 | 1,600,000 |
After Level 21 each level needs 4% more than the one before.
- Rested XP: when you are away for more than 15 minutes it builds up: about 4% of your current level a day, up to 12% (three days). While you have some, XP from mining and kills is 50% higher until it is used. The blue part of the XP bar shows it.
- Hive Essence: +25% XP for 15 minutes, on top of rested XP.
Wear, repair and insurance
From Level 5 your ship's hull condition wears down: about 10% per hour of flying away from the station, and 5% each time you are shot down. Each ship wears on its own. Docked time and offline time cost nothing.
| Condition | Effect |
|---|---|
| 50–100% | No effect |
| Under 50% | −10% damage and speed |
| 0% | Repair before you can leave the station |
Repair (Exchange › Upkeep, docked)
- Repair kit: instant, paid with XARIA. The price depends on the ship and on how much wear there is.
- Alloy Plate: +50% condition.
- ORB repair: takes 1 hour. It restores the wear that was there when you started it; wear you pick up while it runs stays. One repair at a time. The station shows the ORB price before you start; it grows with the wear and the size of the ship.
Insurance
Insurance lasts 24 hours and keeps your cargo when you are shot down. Both plans are paid with XARIA.
- Standard: covers Red Dust, Ice Belt and Volcanic Ring.
- Including Dark Zone: covers every sector. You can upgrade from Standard while it runs.
Insurance does not stop hull wear or module wear.
Parts (4 hours of play each)
| Part | Effect |
|---|---|
| Mining head | 30% chance of a second ore on every mining hit (while there is room) |
| Shield capacitor | +15% shield |
| Engine nozzle | +10% speed |
| Cargo container | +40 hold |
| Scanner | Rare ore stands out on the minimap, and the Queen and Vorrhak get a pulsing ring |
Parts are paid with XARIA. The 4 hours count only while you play. You can run one of each at a time.
Mining and cargo
| Ore | Station price | XP per ore | Hits per rock | Where |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ferrite | 2 ORB | 2 | 12 | Red Dust, Ice Belt, Volcanic Ring |
| Crystal | 8 ORB | 5 | 7 | Ice Belt, Volcanic Ring, some in Red Dust |
| Plasma | 13 ORB | 9 | 6 | Volcanic Ring, Dark Zone |
| Dark matter | 30 ORB | 15 | 5 | Dark Zone only |
| Sector | Rock mix |
|---|---|
| Red Dust | 85% ferrite · 15% crystal |
| Ice Belt | 40% ferrite · 60% crystal |
| Volcanic Ring | 10% ferrite · 40% crystal · 50% plasma |
| Dark Zone | 50% plasma · 50% dark matter |
Click a rock to mine it. Your ship flies over and mines one ore per hit. The XP per ore is multiplied by the sector's reward multiplier. A mined-out rock comes back somewhere else after 15–35 seconds, and the field grows with the number of pilots in your sector copy.
When the hold is full, mining stops: fly home (H) and sell at the station. If you are shot down outside a gate you lose the hold, but never your levels, ships or items.
Hold size = ship cargo + 20 per Cargo bay level + 4 per Cargo research level + 40 with a Cargo container part.
Refinery
Base › Refinery. Turn ore into more valuable goods. You start with 2 slots; the 3rd costs 5,000 ORB, the 4th 10,000 ORB, and the 5th is paid with XARIA in the Shop. Start jobs while docked; timers keep running when you are offline.
| Recipe | Input | Output | Time | Raw sale value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ferrite Ingot | 40 ferrite | 120 ORB | 10 min | 80 ORB |
| Crystal Prism | 20 crystal | 260 ORB | 30 min | 160 ORB |
| Plasma Cell | 10 plasma | 215 ORB | 60 min | 130 ORB |
| Red X4 production | 4 dark matter | 50 x4 rounds | 30 min | – |
| Core Breakdown | 1 Quantum Core | 3 Data Chips | 2 h | – |
| Chip Synthesis | 5 dark matter + 1,500 ORB | 1 Data Chip | 4 h | – |
Fresh bonus: collect within 10 minutes of a job finishing for +20% ORB or x4 rounds. Chip jobs instead get a 20% chance of 1 extra chip. A job you sped up gets no fresh bonus.
Refinery research cuts every job's time by 5% per level. Refined ORB from your own mined ore counts as mining for the Quantum Exchange.
Expeditions
Base › Expeditions. Send your probe or an escort on a mission while you play. The probe can run one expedition at a time; each escort can run its own, so several can be out at once.
| Expedition | Time | Unlock | ORB (L = your level) | Data Chips |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red Dust survey | 15 min | Lv1 | 60 + 10·L | – |
| Ice Cloud expedition | 1 h | Lv4 | 250 + 30·L | 5% chance of 1 |
| Volcanic depths | 4 h | Lv8 | 900 + 80·L | 35% chance of 1 |
| Dark Frontier | 8 h | Lv12 | 2,000 + 150·L | 1, plus 50% for a 2nd |
- The ORB is rolled when you send it: 85–120% of the base above.
- An escort instead of the probe gives +25%. The escort is away until you collect.
- Logistics research adds +5% per level.
- Collect within 10 minutes of the end for +20% ORB.
Expedition ORB stays in the game: it does not count for the Quantum Exchange.
Research
Base › Research. One project at a time, each line up to level 10. Bonuses are permanent.
| Line | Per level |
|---|---|
| Laser focusing | +3% damage |
| Shield matrix | +3% shield |
| Cargo compression | +4 cargo |
| Refinery efficiency | −5% refinery time |
| Expedition logistics | +5% expedition reward |
Every line costs the same. Each step costs 1.8× the one before:
| To level | ORB | Time | To level | ORB | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 150 | 10 min | 6 | 2,834 | 3 h 9 min |
| 2 | 270 | 18 min | 7 | 5,102 | 5 h 40 min |
| 3 | 486 | 32 min | 8 | 9,183 | 10 h 12 min |
| 4 | 875 | 58 min | 9 | 16,530 | 18 h 22 min |
| 5 | 1,575 | 1 h 45 min | 10 | 29,754 | 33 h 4 min |
Timers and speed-ups
| Timer | Speed up with ORB | Time Crystal |
|---|---|---|
| Refinery job | 12 ORB per minute left (at least 10 ORB) | −30 min |
| Research | 12 ORB per minute left (at least 10 ORB) | −30 min |
| Expedition | 12 ORB per minute left, or 110% of what the rest of the expedition pays (a Data Chip counts as 900 ORB), whichever is more | −30 min |
So speeding up an expedition never pays more than waiting. A job finished early with ORB, or by a Time Crystal, gets no fresh bonus.
Daily missions
Missions tab. 4 missions a day: two easy, one medium, one hard. New ones at 00:00 UTC. The draw is the same for everyone that day, from the missions open at your level.
- The ORB reward grows 8% per level: base × (1 + 0.08 × your level). XP is half the base.
- The hard mission adds a Data Chip or a Time Crystal (50/50).
- Every claimed mission gives 1 season star.
- Reroll a mission for 100 ORB, twice a day.
- Claim all four to open the daily chest: 3 Gate Shards, 1 Time Crystal and 3 season stars.

Sectors
| Sector | Unlock | Enemy strength | Rewards | Station | Boss loot |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red Dust | Start | ×1 | ×1.0 | Yes | Smallest |
| Ice Belt | Lv4 | ×1.8 | ×1.2 | Yes | More |
| Volcanic Ring | Lv8 | ×3 | ×1.5 | Yes | More |
| Dark Zone | Lv12 | ×4.5 | ×1.9 | No | Full |
Enemy strength multiplies alien health, damage and base ORB/XP. Rewards multiply ORB and XP again on top. Each sector is 5,600 × 5,600 units. The jump gate on the right edge leads to the next sector, the one on the left back.
- Safe zones: a ring of 520 units around each station and 200 units around each jump gate. Enemies leave you alone there, and shots fired from inside do not count. Your hull repairs at the station.
- Edge storm: past the sector edge your hull burns every half second, harder the further out you go.
- Docking: fly into the station. Selling, upgrades, the refinery and the Exchange need you docked.
Sector creatures
About 15% of the aliens that spawn outside gates are the sector's own creature. They have the health and ORB of a normal small or big alien, but they fight differently. Kills count for the "Hunt sector creatures" mission.
| Creature | Sector | Size | Behaviour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sand Borer | Red Dust | Small | Waits underground and cannot be hit there. When a ship comes within 170 units it bursts out under it and strikes. It hides again after 10 quiet seconds. |
| Frost Drifter | Ice Belt | Big | Slow and never shoots. Its touch hits and freezes your ship for a few seconds. Shoot it from range. |
| Magma Crawler | Volcanic Ring | Small | Bursts when it dies and hits every ship within 150 units. |
| Shadow Stalker | Dark Zone | Big | Invisible until you are within 240 units, then fires one heavy strike before the fight. |
Sector Hunter: hunt 10 of each creature to earn the Sector Hunter title (and Captain's Path step 36).
Servers and shared worlds
Pick a server (Orion, Vega, Lyra or Draco). Your progress is the same on all of them. Each sector runs in copies of up to 30 pilots; new copies open as more pilots arrive, and "Go to them" takes you to a friend's copy when it has room.
- More pilots in a copy means more aliens: +10% of the sector's normal number per extra pilot, up to 4×. The rock field grows too, up to about twice its normal size. Each alien keeps the same strength and pays the same.
- The Queen and Vorrhak get more health for every pilot who fights them (see below).
- One wallet flies one ship: opening the game in a second tab closes the first.
Combat and kill rewards
Lock a target by clicking it, or press Space for the nearest enemy within 650 units (press again for the next one). Your ship closes in and fires by itself. After a Space lock, when the target dies the ship moves on to the next enemy within 450 units; it never picks other pilots, and any click stops it. Your shield takes damage first, then armor reduces what reaches the hull. Shield recharges 12 per second after 3 seconds without a hit (+50% per Shield Escort).
Shared kills
Pilots who dealt at least 20% of an alien's health, and the one who finished it, share the kill. ORB, ore and drops are split by damage; every pilot in the kill gets full XP and mission progress. So playing together levels you faster without changing what a kill is worth.
What a kill pays (whole kill, before Scavenger)
| Enemy (ORB / XP) | Red Dust | Ice Belt | Volcanic Ring | Dark Zone |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small alien | 7 / 10 | 16 / 22 | 32 / 45 | 61 / 86 |
| Big alien | 28 / 30 | 60 / 65 | 126 / 135 | 239 / 257 |
| Pirate | – | – | – | 266 / 171 |
| Hive Queen | 120 / 180 | 259 / 389 | 540 / 810 | 1,026 / 1,539 |
| Vorrhak | 450 / 600 | 972 / 1,296 | 2,025 / 2,700 | 3,848 / 5,130 |
- Aliens: 30% chance of 1 ore (big ones always, 3 ore): crystal in Red Dust and the Ice Belt, plasma from the Volcanic Ring on. Gate Shard 1% (big 3%). Big aliens from the Volcanic Ring on: 6% Data Chip.
- Pirates (Dark Zone AI pilots): 3–8 plasma, 2–5 dark matter, 35% Data Chip, 15% for 1–2 Gate Shards, 2% Aurora skin.
If you are shot down outside a gate you go back to the station without your cargo. In the Dark Zone, where there is no station, you are sent back to the Volcanic Ring station.
Queen and Vorrhak
| Hive Queen | Vorrhak | |
|---|---|---|
| First appears | 1–3 min after a copy opens | 4–10 min after a copy opens |
| Then | 4–6.5 min after the last one is gone | 12–20 min after the last one is gone |
| Stays | 180 s | 240 s |
| Health | 1,400 × sector strength × (0.5 per fighter, at least 1) | 7,000 × sector strength × (0.7 per fighter, at least 1) |
| Fastest a pilot can take it alone | 30 s | 60 s |
| Share needed for rewards | 10% of its health | 3% of its health |
| Hunter board points | 1 | 3 |
| Season stars | 1 | 3 |
The exact time is random and is never sent to the game: you find out when it arrives. Neither boss appears inside Galaxy Gates. Health grows when a new pilot first hits the boss, so a big group still needs time. The pilot with the most damage always gets the kill; everyone else needs the share in the table. Loot is split by damage between everyone who qualifies.
Hive Queen
Spawns in one of the alien nests (green dot on the radar). She fires a 5-shot spread and calls 2 minions every 10 seconds while a pilot is close.
Drops: 2–3 Gate Shards, 4 ore pods of 3 ore each from the sector's rocks, 2–4 consumables, a 30% chance of a Data Chip, and a 3% chance of the Stardust skin.
Vorrhak
The alien mothership. It fights in three phases:
- Hunt: fires a triple shot at the nearest pilot and a 16-shot ring every few seconds.
- Shield (at 66% health): Vorrhak cannot be hurt. 4 shield drones circle it and fire at pilots. Each drone has 260 × sector strength health. Destroy all four to drop the shield. Each drone kill pays a little ORB.
- Rage (below 33% after the shield is down): it adds a spinning spiral of shots and calls 3 minions every 8 seconds.
Drops: 6 Gate Shards, 3–5 Data Chips, 32 of the sector's richest ore (crystal in Red Dust and the Ice Belt, plasma in the Volcanic Ring, dark matter in the Dark Zone) and an 8% chance of the Black Hole skin. Your first Vorrhak kill also gives an Attack Escort.
Boss loot by sector: Vorrhak drops 50% of its full loot in Red Dust, 65% in the Ice Belt, 80% in the Volcanic Ring and 100% in the Dark Zone. The Queen drops 60% / 75% / 90% / 100%. ORB and ore are not reduced by this.
Legendary loot
Each Vorrhak kill has a 10% chance of legendary loot (smaller with a smaller damage share or in an easier sector). If you miss five times in a row, your 6th kill is guaranteed, as long as you did at least 10% of the damage. In easier sectors the guarantee counter fills more slowly.
| Legendary item | Weight |
|---|---|
| Quantum Core | 40% |
| Red Laser Module | 20% |
| Prism Shield Module | 20% |
| Vorrhak Shell skin | 14% (a Quantum Core if you already have it) |
| Vorrhak Spawn escort | 6% (a Quantum Core if you have 30 escorts) |
Galaxy Gates
Gates tab, while docked. A gate is your own private arena: waves of enemies around you and a Gate Warden in the last wave. You have 3 lives.
| Gate | Unlock | Waves | Enemy strength | Clear reward | Legendary chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alpha | Lv5 | 8 | ×2 | 3,000 ORB, 400 Red X4, 3 Data Chips, 2 consumables | 10% |
| Beta | Lv9 | 10 | ×3.5 | 7,000 ORB, 800 Red X4, 6 Data Chips, 4 consumables | 25% |
| Gamma | Lv13 | 12 | ×5.5 | 15,000 ORB, 1,500 Red X4, 10 Data Chips, 6 consumables | 50% |
- Opening: a gate opens with a Gate Key, paid with XARIA (Alpha costs the least, Gamma the most). The first wave starts 3 seconds after you arrive.
- Waves: wave w has 5 + 2w aliens (about a quarter are big ones) and each wave is 12% stronger than the last. Every 4th wave adds a gate queen who calls 2 helpers every 10 seconds. The last wave adds the Gate Warden.
- Lives: being shot down in a gate costs a life, not your cargo. Lose all 3 and the run ends.
- Pay: every kill pays ORB and XP as you go, on top of the clear reward. Clearing also gives XP worth 30% of the clear ORB and 3 season stars.
- Gamma Flame: each Gamma clear has a 15% chance of the Gamma Flame skin.
- Limits: up to 5 gates a day (UTC), all tiers together. An open gate expires after 3 hours.
- If your connection drops, the gate keeps your progress and resumes at the same wave.
Gate ORB from key-opened gates counts for the Exchange's gate share.
Dark Zone
From Level 12. Full PvP: outside the safe zone around the jump gate, any pilot can attack you. There is no station, so you cannot sell or refine here. AI pirates roam, and dark matter only grows here.
- Cargo pods: a pilot shot down in a real fight with another pilot drops their cargo as a pod. Anyone within 140 units can grab it for 90 seconds. A real fight means the server saw at least 150 PvP damage on that pilot, the last hit within 10 seconds, and no pod from the same pilot in the last minute.
- Kill feed: PvP kills are announced in the chat of that copy.
- Revive: within 90 seconds of going down here you can come back where you fell, paid with XARIA. Once per death.
- Hits from inside the safe zone, or on a pilot inside it, do not count.
Boss beacon
Exchange › Hunt. Call Vorrhak (up to 3 a day) or the Queen (up to 6 a day) into your sector copy now, paid with XARIA. Not in gates.
- After a call the copy cools down for 15 minutes (Vorrhak) or 6 minutes (Queen) before anyone there can call again.
- If one is already up, the call is refused before you pay. If one appears in the moment you pay, the call is paid back.
- Everyone in the copy sees who lit the beacon and can join the fight.
- Called bosses do not count for Founder Fleet events.
Player market
Market tab › Resources. Trade with other pilots. Real pilots' listings show with their callsign next to the Federation's offers.
Tradeable: Gate Shards, Time Crystals, Hive Essence, Alloy Plates, Red Laser Modules, Prism Shield Modules, Quantum Cores, Data Chips, dark matter, plasma and crystal. Ferrite stays with the station.
- Prices from 0.5× to 3× the current market price, 1–1,000 per listing, up to 5 open listings.
- Listing needs a callsign. You list and buy while docked. Buying needs Level 5.
- The server takes the goods when you list, so they cannot be spent twice. Cancel to get them back (ore needs room in the hold).
- Buyers can take part of a listing. The rest stays open.
- The seller pays a 5% fee in ORB, which is burned. Claim your sales in the market tab.
- Federation buyers also look at your listings: a listing at or below the market price can sell to them. Above the market price only players buy it.
- There is no daily limit on trades between players.
ORB from market sales stays in the game: it does not count for the Exchange.
Federation market
The Federation (bots) always buys and sells the same items. Its prices drift slowly with server time. It sells at the highest price of the last 6 hours (+2%) and buys at the lowest (−3%), minus the 5% fee, so buying low and selling back never pays. Each item has a daily limit per pilot:
| Item | Base price (ORB) | Buy from bots / day | Sell to bots / day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crystal | 11 | 300 | 1,200 |
| Plasma | 18 | 200 | 800 |
| Dark matter | 40 | 120 | 480 |
| Gate Shard | 140 | 60 | 240 |
| Hive Essence | 260 | 25 | 40 |
| Alloy Plate | 300 | 25 | 40 |
| Time Crystal | 350 | 25 | 40 |
| Data Chip | 900 | 5 | 20 |
| Quantum Core | 4,200 | 1 | 4 |
| Prism Shield Module | 8,000 | 1 | 4 |
| Red Laser Module | 9,000 | 1 | 4 |
The base price is the centre the price swings around (up to about ±20%). The market screen shows today's price. Limits reset at 00:00 UTC.
Rare items
Market tab › Rare. Rare skins are numbered and limited each season. When one drops it is bound to your account.
| Skin | Rarity | Per season | Drops from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stardust | Rare | 500 | Hive Queen, 3% |
| Aurora | Rare | 500 | Dark Zone pirates, 2% |
| Black Hole | Epic | 150 | Vorrhak, 8% |
| Gamma Flame | Legendary | 40 | Gamma Gate clear, 15% |
Boss drop chances shrink with your damage share and in easier sectors, like the rest of the loot.
Selling a rare skin
- Seal it, paid with XARIA. Epic and Legendary cost more to seal than Rare. A sealed skin can no longer be worn while it is listed.
- List it at one of three prices: 70%, 85% or 100% of its reference price. Up to 20 listings. Cancel any time.
- The Federation buys it: it checks once a minute, and the lower your price, the sooner it buys. You are paid in XARIA at the Treasury's payout share, minus a 5% fee.
The Federation buys only up to a daily amount from each pilot, tied to your Terminal's daily Exchange limit (and never more than about one Legendary a day). A sale that does not fit today waits. A skin worth more than your whole daily limit cannot sell until your Terminal level is high enough. The Federation also offers rare skins for sale, always above the reference price.
Chat and friends
- Chat is shared across your server. Lines from another sector show that sector's name. One message every 1.5 seconds, up to 120 characters. Links are blocked.
- Speech bubbles show over ships for 5 seconds. Turn them off in the sound menu.
- Right-click a pilot (hold on a phone) to add a friend, show the way to them, block or report.
- Up to 100 friends, and up to 20 friend requests a day. Friends show as blue squares on the minimap.
- Private messages are between friends only and are kept for 7 days.
Invites
Community › Invite. Every pilot has one invite code (KPT-XXXX). A new pilot can enter one code, up to Level 10.
| Who | What | When |
|---|---|---|
| Your friend | 1,000 ORB, 3 Time Crystals, 1 Hive Essence | Starter pack. Their X account must be at least 30 days old with 5+ followers. |
| You | 500 ORB | When they reach Level 5 |
| You | 2 Time Crystals | When they reach Level 10 |
You can claim up to 20 invite rewards in any 7 days.
| Invited pilots at Level 10+ | Tier reward |
|---|---|
| 1 | Envoy title |
| 3 | Envoy skin |
| 10 | Fleet Founder title and Founder skin |
| 25 | Galaxy Envoy title and Galaxy skin |
Invites from the same network join but do not count for rewards, and invites never pay XARIA.
Titles
A title shows next to your name for everyone in your sector. Pick it in Community › Titles.
| Title | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Founder | One of the first 1,000 callsigns |
| Sector Hunter | Hunt 10 of each sector creature |
| Envoy | 1 invited pilot at Level 10+ |
| Fleet Founder | 10 invited pilots at Level 10+ |
| Galaxy Envoy | 25 invited pilots at Level 10+ |
Your level also shows next to your name, and other pilots see your ship, design, skin and name colour.
Season boards
Missions tab › Rankings. Seasons are weekly and start Monday 00:00 UTC. Three boards share the season prize pool:
| Board | Scores | Pool share |
|---|---|---|
| General | Season stars | 60% |
| Hunter | Queen 1 point · Vorrhak 3 points | 20% |
| Miner | Ore mined | 20% |
| Rank | Share of the board's pool |
|---|---|
| 1st | 25% |
| 2nd | 15% |
| 3rd | 10% |
| 4th–10th | 5% each |
| 11th–20th | 1.5% each |
- The prize pool for the season is shown in the Rankings tab. It comes from the season prize treasury; no new tokens are minted. Entry is free.
- Only pilots with a callsign are ranked. On a tie, whoever reached the score first ranks higher.
- The server keeps its own count of mining hits and boss kills and checks the boards against it. Scores faster than a real pilot can play are held back.
- Suspended pilots leave the boards. The team checks the boards before paying.
Weekly Gate Cup
Exchange › Cup. Buy a weekly ticket (paid with XARIA, needs Terminal Lv2 and the licence), then run the Alpha Gate as fast as you can.
- Only key-opened Alpha Gate runs that the server ran count, timed by the server from opening to the last wave. Your best time of the week counts.
- 60% of all tickets goes to the prize pool; 40% goes to the Treasury.
- The 3 fastest share the pool: 50% / 30% / 20%. On a tie, the earlier time wins.
- The week ends Monday 00:00 UTC. Prizes are paid after it ends.
Dark Zone bounties
Exchange › Hunt. Put a bounty on a pilot's callsign, paid with XARIA (the game shows the smallest and largest amount). You can have up to 5 open.
- Whoever shoots that pilot down in a real Dark Zone fight, decided by the server's own hull count, gets 90% of every open bounty on them. 10% goes to the Treasury.
- No payout between friends (or pilots with a pending friend request), invite-linked pilots or pilots on the same device. The hunter's account must be at least 3 days old.
- A bounty nobody claims in 7 days goes back to the pilot who placed it (90%).
- The Hunt tab lists the most wanted pilots and shows the bounty on your own head.
Looks and cosmetics
Looks never change how a ship flies or fights.
| Skin | How to get it |
|---|---|
| Night Raven | 400 ORB |
| Ice Crystal | 600 ORB |
| Magma | 900 ORB |
| Emerald Ghost | 1,200 ORB |
| Golden Commander | 2,500 ORB |
| Neon, Inferno, Polaris, Sapphire, Obsidian, Nebula, Nova, Imperator | Shop, paid with XARIA |
| Comet, Pulsar | Season Pass premium track |
| Vorrhak Shell | Legendary loot |
| Stardust, Aurora, Black Hole, Gamma Flame | Rare drops (see Rare items) |
| Envoy, Founder, Galaxy | Invite tiers |
A skin changes the ship colour, engine trail and laser colour. ORB skins are bought docked. Name colours (gold, cyan, pink, violet, red, white, in Exchange › Upkeep) change how others see your name; each is paid with XARIA once and is yours to keep.
Founder Fleet events
Founder Fleet allowlist spots are given out through in-game events, counted by the server: a Level 5 draw, a Level 10 draw, most Hive Queen kills, most Vorrhak damage, the fastest Alpha Gate, and the top of each season board. One spot per wallet across all events. Bosses called with a beacon do not count. Event times are announced on @playnexaria.
XARIA at a glance
XARIA is the game's token on Robinhood Chain. ORB stays inside the game; XARIA can move between the game and your wallet. This is where it comes from, what it is for, and how it moves.
Ways to get XARIA in the game
| Way | How it works | More |
|---|---|---|
| Quantum Exchange | Turn ORB from kills, your own mined ore and key-opened gates into XARIA, up to your daily limit. | Exchange |
| Exchange Terminal | Higher Terminal levels raise your daily Exchange limit and the Federation's daily buying limit for you. | Terminal |
| Rare skins | Seal a rare skin you looted and list it; the Federation buys it and pays you in XARIA. | Rare items |
| Weekly Gate Cup | The 3 fastest Alpha Gate runs of the week share the ticket pool. | Cup |
| Dark Zone bounties | Shoot down a pilot with a bounty on them and collect 90% of it. | Bounties |
| Season boards | The top 20 of each weekly board share the season prize pool shown in Rankings. | Boards |
What you can spend it on
Ships, upgrade levels 6–10, Gate Keys, repairs, insurance and parts, Terminal levels, Reactor Charge, boss beacons, bounties, the Cup ticket, Dark Zone revives, Shop items, the premium Season Pass, skins and name colours. The full list is in What XARIA is used for. Prices are shown on each button.
Moving it between the game and your wallet
- Withdraw (Exchange › Wallet): from Terminal Lv2 with the licence. A 5% fee, a minimum amount and daily limits apply; the game shows what is left today. You claim it from the vault with your wallet.
- Deposit (Exchange › Wallet): use the Deposit button in the game to move XARIA from your wallet to the vault. A 2% fee. Small deposits arrive within seconds; larger ones wait for the chain to settle. Never send XARIA straight to the vault address (for example from an exchange): only deposits made with the game's Deposit button are credited.
Details, limits and what happens if something goes wrong are in Withdrawals and deposits.
Quantum Exchange
At the station, the Quantum Exchange turns ORB you won through play into XARIA. You need the Pilot Licence and must be docked. Only ORB from three sources converts, and each has its own share of your daily limit:
| Source | Counts | Share of the daily limit |
|---|---|---|
| Combat | Kills outside gates and what they drop (sold at the station) | 40% |
| Mining | Ore you mined yourself, sold at the station or refined | 35% |
| Gates | Galaxy Gates opened with a key: kills, drops and the clear reward | 25% |
Does not convert: ORB from missions, the daily chest, the Season Pass, training, Captain's Path, invites, market sales, expeditions, mining drones and pods.
How the amount is worked out
- Convertible ORB: the ORB you got from the three sources. Any ORB you spend is taken off it first, spread over the three sources.
- Daily allowance: your Terminal level sets a daily limit, split 40 / 35 / 25 over the sources. Unused allowance rolls over for 7 days into the same source, at the Terminal level you had that day, counted from your licence day.
- First day: for the first 24 hours after your licence a separate first-day limit applies. The Exchange shows it.
- Rate: the Exchange shows how much XARIA 10,000 ORB is worth. The rate follows the token's market price: when the price rises you get fewer XARIA for the same ORB, when it falls the rate catches up step by step.
- Payout share: the Treasury pays this share of the rate. It is shown on the Exchange.
- Fee: 10% of what is paid.
The converted ORB is burned. The game never mints XARIA: everything paid out comes from the Treasury.
Payout share
Every 10 minutes the payout share moves toward a target: what came into the Treasury in the last 24 hours plus a small daily share of its balance, against what pilots asked to convert in the same 24 hours. It can drop at most 3 points and rise at most 1 point per step, and never goes above 100%. A conversion always uses the share at that moment.
Exchange Terminal
Exchange › Terminal. Your Terminal level sets your daily Exchange limit. Upgrades are paid with XARIA, while docked.
- There are 7 levels. Each one raises the daily limit; Level 7 allows more than ten times the Level 1 limit.
- Each upgrade costs about twice the one before. The Terminal shows your current limit, the next one and the price.
- Level 2 opens withdrawals to your wallet and the Gate Cup.
- Rollover from past days uses the level you had on that day.
Withdrawals and deposits
Withdraw (Exchange › Wallet)
- From Terminal Lv2, with the licence. There is a minimum amount, and a 5% fee.
- The team can set a short waiting time after the licence before your first withdrawal (against bots). If it is on, the game shows when yours opens.
- One withdrawal at a time. Finish or wait for the last one first.
- There is a daily limit per wallet, and a total limit for all pilots each day. The game shows what is left.
- Each withdrawal starts with a quick human check (Cloudflare), so bots cannot cash out in bulk.
- The server signs a claim; you collect it from the game's vault contract with your wallet (you need a little ETH for gas). The claim is valid for 2 hours. An unclaimed claim is refunded automatically after it expires.
- If the server cannot sign (the vault's own limits, for example), the XARIA comes back to your balance.
Deposit
- Use the Deposit button in the game and confirm in your wallet. Needs the Pilot Licence. The fee is 2%.
- Deposit from your own wallet. A plain transfer to the vault address, a transfer from an exchange, or a deposit sent through another contract or smart wallet is not credited to you.
- Small deposits arrive within seconds (after 20 blocks). Larger ones wait until the chain marks the block safe, up to about 20 minutes. The game keeps checking by itself.
- A deposit seen on the chain is always credited once, even if deposits are paused meanwhile.
- Spending XARIA in the game never asks your wallet again.
Treasury and burns
XARIA spent in the game (keys, kits, ships, upgrades, skins and more) goes 75% to the Federation Treasury, and 25% is burned. While the payout share is under 50%, nothing is burned and all of it goes to the Treasury. Half of every withdrawal and deposit fee also goes to the Treasury, as do the bounty fee and 40% of Cup tickets.
The Treasury pays the Exchange and the Federation's rare-item purchases, so what pilots spend keeps the Exchange running. Exchange › Exchange shows the Treasury balance and the last 24 hours in and out.
Reactor Charge
Exchange › Terminal. Lock XARIA for 7, 14 or 28 days to boost the ORB you get from kills, key-opened gates and your own ore sold at the station by +4%, +10% or +20%.
- There is a minimum amount, shown in the game.
- All locked XARIA comes back to you when the charge ends.
- One charge at a time. The bonus ORB counts for the Exchange like the ORB it was added to.

Fair play
Every ship must be flown by hand. Bots, auto-fire, auto-farm and macro tools are not allowed.
- The server checks damage, movement speed, ammo, the market and every limit itself. A ship that moves faster than it can is put back, and repeated jumps disconnect it.
- Each pilot has a damage budget per second, shared by PvP, aliens and bosses.
- The server notices machine-like input, for example the same action repeated at near-identical intervals. Such accounts are marked and their withdrawals are held for review.
- Groups of accounts run by one person are spotted and reviewed. Invites, bounties and the market have their own checks against this.
- Breaking the rules gets the account banned: you are signed out, your listings are cancelled and you leave the season boards. Banned pilots cannot withdraw, pending withdrawals are cancelled, and the XARIA balance can be moved to the Treasury.

FAQ
Does signing in cost anything?
No. Signing the message is free and moves no funds. The Pilot Licence is a separate one-time payment, and your wallet shows it before you confirm.
Can I lose my ship?
No. Being shot down costs your cargo (unless insured) and some hull condition. Levels, ships and items stay. Modules lose 20% durability per death and break at 0%.
Why did the Exchange give me less than I expected?
Only ORB from combat, your own mining and key-opened gates converts, and spent ORB comes off it first. Each source has its own part of your daily limit, a 10% fee applies, and the amount follows the payout share at that moment.
Why does the Exchange say "Nothing to convert"?
Either you have no convertible ORB (your ORB came from missions, the pass or the market), or today's allowance for those sources is used up. It comes back at 00:00 UTC.
Why is my withdrawal "processing"?
It is being reviewed by the team after a fair-play check. Normal withdrawals are signed right away.
I did not claim my withdrawal in time. Is it lost?
No. A claim is valid for 2 hours. If it is not used, the XARIA is returned to your game balance automatically.
My deposit has not arrived.
Larger deposits wait until the chain marks the block safe, up to about 20 minutes. The game keeps checking. A deposit seen on the chain is always credited once.
Do I have to stay online for timers?
No. Refinery jobs, expeditions, research and the mining drone keep running while you are away. Collect within 10 minutes of the end for the fresh bonus.
Why did my hold not fill when the Queen died?
Loot is split by damage, and you need 10% of the Queen's health (3% for Vorrhak) to get any. A full hold also stops new ore.
Vorrhak's health went up in the middle of the fight.
Its health grows when a new pilot joins the fight. That keeps large groups from melting it in seconds.
Why can't I open a gate?
Check your level (Alpha 5, Beta 9, Gamma 13), that you are docked, that you have the Gate Key, and that you have not opened 5 gates today.
Which server should I pick?
Any. Your progress is the same on all of them; pick the one your friends fly on.
Can I play on two devices?
Yes, but one at a time. Opening the game somewhere else closes the older tab. Your progress lives on the server.
Physical or Mental doctrine?
Physical (Heavy Assault) for aliens, mining and gates. Mental (Psionic) for bosses and the Dark Zone. A reset costs 2,000 ORB.
Why do I see a human check?
A short Cloudflare check appears the first time a new wallet signs in and before each withdrawal. It keeps bot farms out so the Treasury pays real pilots. It usually passes by itself in a second or two. If it does not load, turn off blockers for this site and try again.
I sent XARIA to the vault address directly. Where is it?
Only deposits made with the game's Deposit button are credited, because the game reads them from the vault's deposit records. A plain transfer is not linked to your account. Report it from the game with the transaction hash and the team will look at it.
Is my wallet safe?
The game never asks for your seed phrase or private key, and never sends a transaction without your wallet showing it to you first. The team will never DM you asking for payment.
